P2R J Series V6 Intake Manifold Spacer

P2R Intake Manifold Spacer will increase TQ and shift HP curve lower. This spacer is ¾” thick and made from 6061 aluminum. Combine with 2 P2R Thermal Intake Manifold gaskets your total spacer thickness will be 1”. Includes necessary bolts and washers to install. Remember the thermal gaskets are sold separately.
With a larger spacer in the intake manifold, increases in torque can be found in the lower RPM range without any compromise in upper RPM flow.
The MDX mod provided great power increases but caused clearance issues with the hood, intake system fitment concerns, and the need for other plumbing and/or electrical re-routing. Many users installed hood spacers to give more clearance between the hood and the engine. Also, longer hardware was needed to install the spacer and sourcing quality hardware from Acura proved difficult due to persistent and lengthy backorders.
P2R Intake Manifold Spacer will be a plug and play, no issue / hassle like the MDX spacer was. This spacer is made from 6061 aluminum. Combined with 2 P2R Thermal Intake Manifold gaskets your total spacer thickness would be 1". The spacer kit itself includes necessary bolts and washers to install so the hardware concern of the past is non-existent (no gasket is included).
There is a reusable metal gasket in the stock manifold assembly, so to install this part one additional gasket is needed. Please see the option above for added a gasket to your order. We recommend the P2R thermal gasket, which helps prevent heat transfer from the engine to the manifold.
